Day Program Assistant

Under the supervision of the Day Center Director, this position will be responsible for assisting the Director in preparing reports, answering the phone, scheduling meetings, loaning out vehicles, filing, and typing, attending and taking minutes of meetings, invoicing, recording attendance, USDA record keeping, preparing payroll reports and assisting the Program Coordinator with programmatical responsibilities.

Wage:  $10.88 per hour, 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 1st shift

Caregiver Relief

Providing care and supervision for children with physical and intellectual challenges ages 6-12 years.  

Schedule & Wage:

  • First 4 Saturday’s of each month, working from 9am – 3pm. Can be flexible with the Saturday’s that you can work.
  • $10.11 per hour

Job requirements:

Staff Accountant

Responsibilities: Under limited supervision of the Finance Director, the Staff Accountant performs monthly analysis for the Board and HUD in an accurate and timely manner, assists the Finance Director in the preparation of financial analysis, assists in preparing yearly budgets, analyzes the general ledger accounts, reconciles all bank statements for Board and HUD and maintains fixed assets in Asset Manager Software.

Requirements:  Five years of experience in bookkeeping/accounting, or Associates Degree in Business/Accounting. Very proficient in Excel.

Schedule & Wage:   Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week.   $15.27 per hour

Residential Administrative Assistant

Responsibilities:  Under the general direction of the Residential Director the Administrative Assistant assists with the monitoring all of LCDSNB residential programs and assist with Quality Assurance functions of the agency.

  1. Creates, processes, and tracks residential supply order. Maintains records of orders and inventory and follows up with vendors on shipments and delivery. Requires strong verbal communication organizational, and time management skills.
  2. Maintains Therap when a consumer is discharged or admitted to the agency.
  3. Provide general administrative and clerical support (spread sheets, DHEC plan of corrections, Alliant follow-ups with residential mangers) etc.
  4. Provides administrative support to the Quality Assurance Committee (taking minutes, follow-up with committee members, emails information to team members.
  5. Draft minutes of residential meetings for review by Residential Director.
  6. Assist Residential Director with LCDSNB board reports, monitoring and filing area residential reports.
  7. Complete vacancy report and forward to SCDDSN by the fifth of each month.
  8. Completes DHEC Licensing renewal application for all eight bed facilities.
  9. Tracks and maintains all inspections for LCDSNB residential programs.
  10. Monitors and tracks residential progress notes.
  11. Order office supplies and other needed supplies for residential services.

Requirements: High School Diploma and 2 years in a clerical position. Preferred experience should include clerical duties (word processing, spreadsheets, email, and databases)

Work Schedule:  Primarily 1st, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week

Community Residential Care Facility Assistant (CRCF Assistant)

  1. Directly supervises 2 CRCF’s. Responsible for staff work schedules, providing shift coverage and leave approval. Ensures all direct support staff are in compliance with annual training.
  2. Supervises the handling of the consumers’ funds according to 200-12-DD policy. Maintains accurate financial records for consumers’ funds. Ensures fund drafts are submitted to finance.
  3. Completes Stromberg for all Direct Support staff. Makes sure documentation is correct (leave request, overtime approval, etc is attached).
  4. Works with CRCF Administrator to develop consumers’ support plans. Monitors active treatment programs, body checks, treatment records, and BSP data for accuracy and effectiveness.
  5. Screens, interviews and makes recommendations for hiring staff. Responsible for disciplinary actions including recommending termination.
  6. Assists consumers in exercising their rights.
  7. Performs related duties as required concerning health, safety and accountability of the consumers.
  8. Make sure that consumer diets are followed and that the appropriate groceries are in the home, follow-up with first shift direct support regarding appropriate groceries.
  9. Responsible to direct and monitor staff in the implementation of support related issues such as housekeeping, the maintenance of the physical plants, the ordering/maintenance of appropriate supplies to complete these tasks, and staff responsibilities in regard to vehicle care and maintenance.
  10. Monitors fire and other disaster drills for the two CRCF’s.
  11. Serves on a Quality Assurance Committee. Compiles information and presents or sends to the committee chair.
  12. Works with new hires demonstrating the OJT skills.
  13. Meet with CRCF Administrator on a regular basis.
  14. Provide CRCF Administrator a monthly summary of finding of visits, celebrations, concerns, and opportunities for the two CRCF’s.

Education:  High School diploma and two-year’s supervisory experience and at least one year experience in the field of developmental disabilities.  Preferably an Associate’s Degree in Business Management or related field and supervisory experience.
Work Schedule:  Primarily first shift, Monday through Friday, 8 am – 5pm.  Assigned a mobile phone to enable 24-hour contact.

Salary: $26,330.44

Early Interventionist

The Early Interventionist works together with the family to help the child reach their full potential. The Early Interventionist also provides emotional support for families and coordinates appropriate services including transition to school and other developmental programs which will help the child reach their potential.

Education:  At least a bachelor’s degree in Child/Human Development, Education, Family & Consumer Services, LPHA, Psychology, Public Health, Social Work or Sociology and one year experience in early childhood education, disabilities & special needs, or infants and toddlers.

Wage:  $15.58 per hour
