Caregiver Relief

Providing care and supervision for children with physical and intellectual challenges ages 6-12 years.  

Schedule & Wage:

  • First 4 Saturday’s of each month, working from 9am – 3pm. Can be flexible with the Saturday’s that you can work.
  • $10.11 per hour

Job requirements:

  • At Least 18 years old
  • High School Diploma/Equivalent
  • Communicate Effectively
  • Legible writing skills
  • Be professional when interacting with families and the community
  • At least six months – one year experience working with special needs population, preferred.
  • Able to pass SLED/DSS/FBI background checks
  • Clean Driving Record/Valid S.C. Driver’s license

Employment Specialist

1. Supervises Employment Services staff.  Includes hiring, timecard approval, leave approval, evaluations, training, disciplinary follow ups and separations.
2. Conducts assessments for potential employment services participants and creates an individualize plan for meeting their vocational goals.
3. Through relationships with Community employers, creates work opportunities in the community for people supported by the Agency in areas of their interest and expertise.
4. Responsible for establishing, budgeting, monitoring and ensuring the quality of work opportunities completed at a Sinclair Day Program Campus.
5. Ensures that all required documentation is complete for the services provided in the Employment Services area.
6.  Ensures that all work environments are safely maintained for all participants and staff.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:  Bachelor’s degree/ associates degree in Human Services or Business and 1 year experience in supervision or marketing or High School diploma and 3 years’ experience in supervision or marketing.

SCHEDULE:  Primarily weekdays, however, may require weekend and variable shifts depending on job placement training.

SALARY EXEMPT:  $26,852.80 annually

  • South Harper – Full Time, 32 hours per week, 2nd shift (posted 12/7/16 – 12/14/16)
  • Area B (Farley’s and East Main) – Full time, 32 hours per week, must be available for all 3 shifts, flexible floater, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts (posted 12/8/16 – 12/15/16)
  • East Main – 2nd shift, 32 hours per week (posted 12/21/16 – 12/28/16)

    • Contract with YMCA – Mon – Thurs, 830pm – 1230am, supervise consumers and assist in janitorial work.
    • Clinton Manor – 27.5 hours per week, 230pm – 8pm
    • Sullivan – 27.5 hours per week, 230pm – 8pm

Direct Support Staff (part time various days)

  • Sullivan – Part time, call in workers needed.  Can work various shifts, but will need Saturday mornings 6am – 2pm.
